Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using One Hard Thing, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
One Hard Thing is a habit tracking application designed to help users build discipline through daily commitment. The app allows users to set one hard task per day, track their completion, and monitor their streaks over time.
User Accounts
One Hard Thing uses Apple Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Premium Subscriptions
Some features require a premium subscription. When you purchase a subscription:
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Refunds are handled through Apple's App Store policies
- Prices may change, but we'll notify you before any price changes
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the app (your hard things, journal entries, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission
- Use the app in a way that could harm us or other users
Intellectual Property
One Hard Thing, including its logo, design, code, and all associated trademarks, are the property of One Hard Thing. You may not use our trademarks without our written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Hard Thing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the app at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
